Shih-I Chu 교수님 지도하에 원자 및 분자 물리학을 연구하였습니다. 보통 광학을 포함해서 AMO physics(Atomic, Molecular, and Optical Physics)라고 불리웁니다. 특히 시간을 포함한 슈뢰딩거 파동방정식(TDSE)을 풀어서 다양한 물리·화학분야에 응용하는 것을 목표로 하였습니다. 기존의 방법론을 벗어나 새로운 이론과 새로운 계산방법을 필요로 하기 때문에 새로운 시도를 많이 경험하였습니다.
